The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015

The document lists international goals (SDGs: Sustainable Development Goals) that aim to create a sustainable and better world by 2030.

Yaogo Shoten Co., Ltd. will work on the following five items in 2024.

We will increase the number of items we tackle in the future.

1: Increase in sales ratio of local Fukui products

By increasing the sales ratio of locally produced products, we will reduce CO2 emissions from transportation, etc.

2: Eliminate free plastic bags and implement simple packaging

We strive to reduce the use of petroleum-based packaging, including plastic.

3. Reduce waste

Reducing the amount of waste generated from vegetables and other sources will lead to a reduction in the energy required for waste disposal.

4: Go paperless

Reducing the amount of copy paper and other materials used helps protect forests and reduce waste.

5. Nutrition education classes at schools and other institutions
